What We Do

Providing title insurance and facilitating a closing is more than just showing up to the settlement table. We make sure that your transaction is correct – from beginning to end. We call it assurance, and if done correctly, it is both a labor and technology-intensive process that draws on years of knowledge to avoid problems. A quality title product not only delivers greater peace of mind but also helps avoid future issues.

Title FAQ

What does it mean to be an independent title agent?

Independence is very important to us. It means we have no business affiliations with any real estate agency or mortgage lender. Our industry partners are referring us without being compensated in any way. We work hard to earn our business.

What is title?

The title is your right to own or use your property. The title also establishes any limitations on those rights.

What is title insurance?

If you’re buying a home, title insurance is a policy that protects your investment and property rights. There are two different types of title insurance: an owner’s policy and a lender’s policy: an owner’s policy is the best way to protect your property rights. The lender usually requires a lender’s policy, which only protects the lender’s financial interests.

Owner’s title insurance protects you from events that may have happened in the past. Title insurance differs from automobile, fire and flood insurance, which protects you from future incidents.
