Community Involvement

Why Put Community First?

We are thankful to our community of industry colleagues who have supported us through the years and to our neighbors, friends, and family.  All have helped us to be successful by inviting us to be part of one of the most important financial transactions a consumer will ever enter into.   This kindness has not gone unnoticed.

We have always tried to give back to the community, but in all honesty, our participation should have been more consistent.   Other things seemed to get in the way.   Until one summer evening, when we were struck by the insight that our community involvement wasn't enough of who we were or how we saw ourselves.  We needed to weave it in to the fabric of our business.   As the idea evolved, it became apparent that  it wouldn't be enough to just subscribe to a new way of doing business, we had to have a structure to make it consistent.

The 3-1-2 Approach to Giving

We identified a yardstick to keep us focused and to give ourselves a structured approach to giving back to the community,  Our goals were simple:

     1.   To contribute to local organizations and national causes and;
     2.   Encourage our staff to volunteer in the community

We have committed to the following concept, which we refer to as our 3-1-2 policy:

     3% of our profit will be directed to local community originations
     1% of our profit will be earmarked for worthy national causes
     2% of our employees paid time is available for volunteering with community organizations

We believe that the 3-1-2 commitment will not only guide us in reaching our goal to give back to the community, but it will also provide us with an excellent way to measure our progress.

Where is our "community?"

Our community is wherever we serve you, our clients.  Our travels have taken us from Kennett Square to New Hope to Center City Philadelphia and all points in between.  While we are licensed to provide title insurance in all counties of Pennsylvania we primarily service Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.
